Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a (System Administrator) for a (20+ months contract ) job with a client in (Newark DE 19713 - Hybrid) . (We are looking for a highly skilled System Administrator to manage and maintain our Windows Server and VMware environment.).

• Rate Range: $28/hour to $34/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Responsibilities:

The candidate will oversee deployment, administration, security remediation, and troubleshooting of Windows-based servers and virtualization infrastructure.

Requirements:

• This role requires expertise in Active Directory, O365, Windows platforms, and VMware, along with experience in PowerShell scripting, networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls), and monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with hybrid AD/O365 environments and cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is advantageous, as is Citrix experience.
• strong problem-solving abilities, a detail-oriented mindset, and excellent communication skills while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• A minimum of 3 years of system administration experience in a Windows and VMware environment is required.
