🏥 Registered Nurse (RN) – School Health Clinic
📍 Nashville, TN | 💼 1099 Contract | 💲 $50/hr
🕐 Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 12:30 PM (School Year)
We’re seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join a school-based health team in Nashville, TN. This is a 12-month contract role offering $50/hour on a 1099 basis . The RN will support student health in a dynamic, specialized education setting—providing both routine and emergency care.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications, perform health assessments, document care.
- Respond to medical emergencies (CPR/BLS certified).
- Manage care for students with complex medical needs (e.g., seizures, diabetes, G-tubes, anaphylaxis).
- Maintain clinic records and inventory (AEDs, medications).
- Support field trips, sports events, and on-campus activities.
- Supervise up to 6 staff (including LPNs) as needed.
🔹 Required Qualifications:
- Current RN license in Tennessee or NLC compact privilege.
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience .
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (per TN state standards).
- Experience in pediatric, school, or clinic settings a plus.
🔹 Skills & Abilities:
- Strong clinical judgment and emergency response skills.
- Effective communicator and team player.
- Comfortable managing multiple health conditions and priorities.
- Able to work early mornings and adjust to variable schedules during breaks.
🔹 Bonus Experience (Preferred):
- School health nursing or working with special populations.
- Supervisory experience.
- Familiarity with electronic health records and diagnostic testing.
