About the Company:

A fantastic company in Tampa, FL is looking to hire a Labor & Employment Attorney to join its growing legal team. This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney with labor & employment experience to transition in-house and gain exposure to a variety of legal matters beyond employment law.

Job Overview:

The attorney will primarily focus on labor & employment law and HR-related matters , but this role will also involve broader generalist in-house legal work . The ideal candidate is a proactive and adaptable attorney who enjoys working on diverse legal issues in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal counsel on employment law issues , including hiring, terminations, workplace policies, and compliance.
• Support HR and company leadership with employee relations, risk management, and regulatory compliance .
• Assist with general in-house legal matters , including commercial contracts and corporate governance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and manage external legal counsel as needed.

Qualifications:

✔ J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction ( Florida preferred ).

✔ 1-4 years of experience practicing labor & employment law at a law firm or in-house.
