Akkodis is seeking a Heat Transfer Engineer for a full-time job with a client in Syracuse, NY . You will be a key member of the team providing advanced heat exchanger solutions to our customer global HVAC&R portfolio. You will collaborate with other technology experts, modeling and simulation experts, product design groups, supply chain partners, and others to develop new opportunities to improve the performance, cost, and reliability of products.
Salary Range: $90,000/per year to $157,000/per year. The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Heat Transfer Engineer job responsibilities include:
· Lead modeling-focused technology development and transfer
· Collaborate with global teams on advanced heat exchanger design
· Manage and deliver on technology development programs
· Innovate to improve product efficiency, cost, and reliability
· Support electronics cooling and compact heat exchanger projects
Desired Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s in engineering with 7+ years’ experience, OR
Master’s with 5+ years, OR Ph.D. with 3+ years
· Strong modeling & simulation expertise, particularly in heat exchangers and thermodynamic systems
· Experience supporting cross-functional product development
· Proven ability to enhance and improve design tools/methods for heat exchangers
