Virtera Partners, a boutique investment firm specializing in alternative investments, is seeking a Director of Investments to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our

As Director of Investments, you will:
- Report directly to the Chief Investment Officer and have a high degree of autonomy
- Play a pivotal role in shaping the firm's investment portfolio and strategy
- Work in a small, collaborative team environment
Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and recommend investment opportunities across all asset classes, including private equity, real estate, and hedge funds
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential investments, preparing detailed written recommendations for investment allocation decisions
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with top-tier fund managers and peers within the investment industry
- Facilitate operational and legal due diligence on underlying fund managers and negotiate favorable terms for clients and investors
- Develop and manage a continuous pipeline of investment opportunities
- Monitor existing portfolio investments and provide regular updates to the CIO and to clients
- Serve on the Investment Committee, providing strategic insight into portfolio construction and investment management
Qualifications
- Seven+ years of experience in an investment role, preferably in the endowment, foundation or family office space
- Strong analytical skills and an ability to think independently with good judgment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexibility and eagerness to work on diverse projects
