Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Set Up Lathe Operator to join our team in Anaheim, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating Haas CNC mills, including 5-axis machines, to produce precision aerospace components. You will work closely with team leads to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate Haas CNC mills, including 5-axis machines.
- Interpret setup sheets, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
- Build fixtures, set up tools, and perform first article inspections.
- Measure and log dimensions to maintain compliance with specifications.
- Run production parts while adhering to strict quality standards.
- Occasionally set up manual knee mills for drill/tap and reaming applications.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize setups and maintain workflow.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience setting up and operating Haas CNC mills (preferably 5-axis).
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and precision measurement tools (micrometers, indicators).
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints.
- Aerospace experience strongly preferred; ITAR familiarity required.
- Safety-conscious and detail-oriented.
